EdithHOWSTANAfter a short illness in Craghall Care home on 29th November 2023, aged 91 years Edith nee Drew much loved wife of the late Joe, much loved mam of Christine, Susan, Andrew and Catherine, dear mother-in-law, granny and great granny of all the family.

Cortege to meet on Tuesday 19th December for Requiem Mass at Immaculate Heart of Mary R/C Church Lobley Hill at 9.15am Cremation to follow at Saltwell Crematorium at 10.30am

Family flowers only, donations in lieu to The Alzheimer's Society.

On whose soul sweet Jesus have mercy. Rest in Peace

So many happy memories of Edith from my youth. I was always welcomed as one of the family. I remember bacon sarnies, fresh sheets and cuddles.

Edith was a lovely lady who will be missed from the home she loved going out on outings and making things. Thinking of all the family at this sad time. May the angels watch over her now.
